Varsity Head Coach

Brett Weiss

Coach Brett Weiss returns to Orange for his fifth year as Varsity Coach.  He has been coaching soccer for 25 years and was previously the Head Coach of the Westerville North Girls program (2013-17) and the Big Walnut Boys program (2011-12). Prior to that, Coach Weiss held Head Coaching positions in club soccer, the Olympic Development Program for Ohio South, and was an Assistant Coach at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis and Thomas Worthington High School. He has his United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Advanced National Diploma, National Diploma, and USSF "C" Equivalency. He teaches Physical Education at Westerville North High School.

Goalkeepers Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach

Robbie Williamson

Coach Robbie Williamson played his college soccer at Defiance College. Shortly after leaving Defiance, Coach Williamson joined Coach Weiss’s staff at Big Walnut High in 2011 as a Goalkeepers Coach.  He held the same position on Weiss’s staff at Westerville North for 4 years. As a Goalkeepers Coach, Coach Williamson has gotten amazing results from his keepers by demanding a hard-charging work ethic and a hawkish attention to detail. He currently is employed by Worthington Industries.

Peter Kolp

Peter joined the Olentangy Orange coaching staff for the 2020 season bringing with him a wealth of playing and coaching experience.

COSA Express FC, Columbus, Ohio (1984 - 1993)

Four years varsity at Westerville North (1990 -1993)

Four years varsity at Bowling Green State University (1993 -1996)

Drafted by the Cincinnati Silverbacks in the first round of the NPSL Territorial Draft (1997)

JVA Head Coach

Ben Weinlein

Coach Ben Weinlein is in his fourth year coaching at Olentangy Orange High School.  This season he will lead the JVA squad, in the prior three years he was with the JVB team.  Ben played 3 years varsity soccer at Marysville High School and has been involved in soccer for over 18 years. He has been coaching for the last 6 years. Most recently, he was the Head Coach for Elite FC. Ben attended Wright State University where he earned his degree in Business Management. He is currently employed with Mast Global Logistics.

Assistant Varsity Coach

Jason McLead

Assistant Varsity Coach Jason McLead returned to Orange last season and is back again this year. Coach Jason was previously with the Pioneers for the 2019/2020 seasons as the JVA Head Coach. He has been coaching soccer for 13 years, serving as Varsity Head Coach for Westerville North Girls (2020-2022), JV Coach and Varsity Assistant at Westerville North Girls (2013-2018) and JVA Coach for Big Walnut Boys Soccer (2011-2012). Coach Jason graduated from The Ohio State University BA History and is an Intervention Specialist at Westerville North High School.
