On 8/26/23 the team faced Olentangy Berlin in the first of two rivalry games for the week. The game was very competitive and evenly played from start to finish. The game seemed to be in hand when Orange went up 3-1 in the second half. Berlin continued to press and push more players into the attacking side of the ball. As the second half progressed, Berlin was able to tie the game with a few minutes left. The game ended in a 3-3 tie.
On 8/29/23 the team took on Olentangy in the second rivalry game of the week. It was another tightly played game with both teams playing well. Drew Neville was able to score on a perfectly timed run from midfield which allowed him to score on a one-on-one with the Olentangy goalie. Olentangy was able to counter with two goals and came away with the 2-1 win.
On 9/5/23 the team traveled to Reynoldsburg to take on the Raiders. The team got off to a slow start in the first half which ended with neither team being able to create scoring opportunities. That changed early in the second half when Mikai Thiam drove a rebound half-volley into the lower left corner of the goal. The second Orange goal was scored by Ethan Kuhn who was able to deflect a Raider clearance which ended up in the back of the net. The third goal was scored by Drew Neville who played a great cross/shot (I'm sure Drew will say it was a shot) from the left corner of the 18-box that found the far post upper-90. The final goal was scored by Landon King on a header off a cross from outside. In the second half the Raiders were able to score two goals of their own but fell short with a final score of 4-2.
JVA and JVB
The JVA and JVB teams have continued their high level of play during the past couple weeks. During that time the JVA team was 3-0 and the JVB team was 2-1.

I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, probably since age 4. I started playing with Olentangy Youth Athletic Association (OYAA) and then moved to club soccer with Classics Eagles before moving to Columbus United in the fall of 2020. For several years I split time as a field player and as a goalie. Since 2020 I have focused on and played the goalie position. This season I am looking forward to the playoffs. After graduation I plan to further my education and pursue a degree in engineering. While in college I will continue to play club and/or intramural soccer. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy wake surfing behind our boat with friends and family.

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Over that time I have played for Columbus United for 7 years and I will be playing my final club season this upcoming spring at Barca Academy Columbus. Though I have played many positions, my favorite position to play is midfield. This upcoming season I am looking forward to playing with all my friends and having a very successful season with the many talented players on our team. After graduation, I plan to attend college where I will continue my academic career and hope to continue my passion for playing soccer. I am not 100% sure what I want to major in, however, I am leaning towards Engineering or something math related. A fun fact about me is that I'm going on 9 years of playing the violin. When I'm not playing soccer I enjoy watching soccer and going on late night endeavors to Dons and Krispy Kreme with my friends in the fun mobile.

I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I have played for the Crew Academy and Blast FC as a midfielder. This season I want to go further in the playoffs than we have in years past, and I believe we can. After high school I want to play soccer in college. When I’m not playing soccer I like to learn and do things to improve my health.

I have been playing soccer for 13 years. The only club soccer team I have played for is Columbus United. In club I play right winger and in high school I play attacking midfielder. I am looking forward to making a run in the tournament this season. After graduation, I hope to study business in college. When I’m not playing soccer I like to spend time with family and friends.

I’ve been playing soccer since I was 5, following in my fathers foot steps. I’ve played club soccer for Columbus Crew, Sporting Columbus, and Columbus United. I primarily play midfield and have also played winger. I’m looking for good times this season and progression within the team. After I graduate, I hope to be able to continue playing soccer while in college, and if not, getting into a trade school for landscaping. A fun soccer fact about me is that I stayed undefeated in high school until midseason my junior year when we lost to St. Francis DeSales. When I’m not playing soccer I like to hang with my friends, work, and be productive.

This season, I want us to strive towards success as much as we can as a team. When I’m not playing soccer, I do other activities such as basketball and gaming. After graduation, I am hoping I get accepted into The Ohio State University. A fun fact about me is that I used to have a horse named Sugar.

I have been playing soccer since the age of three (14 years). During that time I have played club soccer for Crew Juniors, Classics Eagles and Olentangy United. This year I am looking forward to going far into the year end high school tournament. After high school, I would like to go to The Ohio State University and major in business finance. Over the years I've played every position on the soccer field (except goalie). This season I am playing forward. When not playing soccer I enjoy eating with friends at Dons and playing basketball.

This season I am mostly looking forward to hanging out with the team. After graduation I plan to go to college and work to become a doctor. I’ve been playing soccer for 11 years. I’ve played for Classic Eagles, Columbus United, Club Ohio, and Elite F.C. My primary position is outside back. I am looking forward to having a competitive and fun last season in high school. After high school, I plan to go to college and hope to study engineering, finance, or movement science, and maybe take a premed route. An interesting fact about me is that I play in the marching band. When I’m not playing soccer, I like to spend most of my time hanging out with my friends.

I’m looking forward to having a fun and successful season with my fellow seniors and teammates. I plan to attend college and major in engineering and communications. One fun fact about me is that I have a lizard. When I’m not playing soccer, I like to hang out with my friends in person or on Xbox, and I like to go kayaking and paddle boarding.

I’ve been playing soccer since I was four years old. I’ve played club soccer for Worthington United and now Barca Academy. The position I play is center back. This season I’m looking forward to having a great season and playing with the group of guys we have. After graduation I hope to keep playing soccer in college and major in construction. I like to travel to different states and countries. So far I have only been to Mexico but I hope to travel more some day. When not playing soccer I love to listen to music (big music guy) and also spending time with family and friends, playing video games, watching tv, and hammocking.

I started playing organized soccer when I was 4 years old but played with my brother before that. I have played for Classic Eagles and Columbus United. I currently play Center back but I have played striker, winger, and outside back. I look forward to recovering from surgery to hopefully play one last time. I want to go to college but I do not know what I want to do exactly, probably something in the medical field. Some fun facts about me is that I’m really into cars and I also like to go fishing. I’m also a 3 time state champion and 1 time regional champion. When I’m not playing soccer I like to play clash of clans, play video games with my brother and friends, sleep, and go to the gym.
